The “Russian Silhouette Charity Foundation” was established in 1997 with the aim of promoting and supporting Russian design talents. The “Russian Silhouette Charity Foundation Award” contest is considered as one of the largest contests for young Russian designers. It is held throughout Russia every year. The initiator and director of the project is Tatjana Michalkova. |

Tat’yana Komarova debuts as a future fashion designer currently studying at the highly renowned Technical Institute No.14 in Moscow. As winner of the International Young Designer Contest "Russian Silhouette Charity Foundation Award" she was granted an exhibition stand at CPD in February 2008 and at CPM in February 2008. |

The composition of her collection echoes the creative energy of Japanese deconstructivism in black & white and features a combination of different fabrications such as vintage fabrics, furs and coated materials. With her collection "Yes meaning No" she presents the whole spectrum of old and new lifestyles. |

Zhanna Nesterova comes from Jakutsk in Sibiria. Her collection is called “Illusion” and exudes that typical St. Petersburg charm in all those grey shades that seem nostalgic to us while setting a modern scene at the same time. As winner of the International Young Designer Contest "Russian Silhouette Charity Foundation Award" she was granted an exhibition stand at CPM in February 2008 and at CPD in July 2008. |

She celebrates her debut as a future fashion designer and current student at the St. Petersburg “Baron von Stieglitz” Academy which focuses on both the artistic and industrial applications of this subject matter. |
