Why must I register as trade visitor with Igedo Company?
This is a measure meant to protect the specialized trade, i.e. you. The fashion trade fairs organised by Igedo Company are exclusive, professional trade fairs. This is the reason why we carefully check if the visitors are affiliated with the industry and trade. If there are doubts as to a visitor’s affiliation with the fashion business, we must refuse access to the Düsseldorf fashion trade fairs.

What are the advantages of advance registration with the trade visitor service team?
As soon as you have been entered in our trade visitor database, you will receive your Check-in Card, in time for the trade fair. You can use this card to order your tickets in advance or buy them at the onsite ticket office. No new registration is required when visiting the trade fair.

How can I register as a trade visitor?
This is quick and easy with our registration form. Send us your completed form with your business registration or an extract from the commercial register as well as personal identification documentation that proves your industry and trade affiliation.

Why should I provide Igedo Company with internal information on my purchasing habits? Who has access to my data?
Our trade visitor team uses your invoice copies only to verify your affiliation. Did you order merchandise in typical profaessional business volumes or are your purchases possibly for private use? After the review by the trade visitor team, your confidential information will be immediately destroyed pursuant to the effective data protection provisions. Your data are not accessible to third parties!

Why is a business license not sufficient for identification purposes?
The business license itself is merely a declaration of intent, but does not prove whether the business activity is actually being carried out.

I have recently started a company in the textile sector. Therefore I cannot yet provide any proof of purchase. May I visit an Igedo Company trade fair nevertheless?
Yes, you may, provided that your business registration is not older than three months at the time of the trade fair. To promote new companies in the textile industry, we offer this one-time opportunity to visit the Igedo Company trade fairs even without invoice proofs, so they may order products to start up their business. Please bring along copies of your business registration, your store lease or correspondence with banks regarding business start-up loans and present them at the registration desk.

I registered my business more than three months ago, but have not been able to make any product purchases yet. May I visit the Igedo Company trade fairs nevertheless?
Yes, provided that you can present a personal invitation issued by one of the companies exhibiting at the respective trade fair. The invitation must include the following information:
- company name and address of the exhibiting company
- hall and stand number at Igedo Fashion Fairs Düsseldorf
- name of the invited person (including company name and address)
- date and time of the business meeting

When registering as a trade visitor with Igedo Company, I already provided invoices as proof for product purchases. Why do I have to provide invoice copies again for the ProfashionalPass?
It is a question of data protection. Registration with Igedo Company and the application for a ProfashionalPass are processed by different companies. Since we destroy any invoice copies immediately after processing by the respective office in accordance with the data protection provisions, a sharing of these documents is neither possible nor intended.
